Simona SalisItalyPlease save Vrindavan also for me that I am dreaming to go there !
Sanjay GoelUSAIt is very important that pilgrims & tourists get a chance to bask in holy activities in this holiest of all places - rather than worry about petty material things. This completely takes away from the spiritual experience.
Gopana-Daska ddUSAPlease make Vrindavan safe.
Brjbhasi Devi DasiVrindavan IndiaVrindavan being an international place has nowdays many international devotees residing here. The international devotees and tourists plus the huge amount of national tourists, there should be some infrastructure put in place specifically there is a need for some special police department trained to take care of all these international tourists and devotees. It should not be taken for granted that they all come here. One should know that they are facing many unwanted elements right here in the Holy Dham. This should not be. They need to be protected as they come here for the spiritual India and we need to make that spiritual India available to them. Vrindavan is the spiritual Dham so they all come only for that reason. We need to make sure that the Dham is protected. In the Dham one is not living a life like in the cities with all sense gratification and illicit things. The Dham is for spiritual practice and austerity. If we don't put some limits of how we use the Dham, in the very near future there will not be any Dham atmosphere any more and with that also the International visitors will cease to be. In fact it is already reducing the amount who like to come to vrindavan for exactly this reason. There is no peace as from all corners loud speakers are sounding their various mundane agendas and promotions, since there is no peace available and from all corners people are being harrassed by various unrestricted bad and sometimes dangerous elements. Are we going to watch Vrindavan disappearing?? And with that the dream of promoting Vrindavan as a tourist destination? We need to protect Vrindavan seriously. If we lose Vrindavan, we will lose our own self because everyone is coming to Vrindavan to rejuvenate. Please do something tangibleand urgent before it is too late. We can do it, we all love Vrindavan.
Aniruddha BoseIndiaHare Krishna, Vrindavan dham should be protected without doubt and it is our govenment duty to do it. Sadly in india the politicians are destroying the country part by part and looking the terrorist activity i really doubt they can do anything for our Dham. Still, will urge the government to protect and save the land of lord , shree Krishna the supreme...Hari Bol!!
Palindhika d.d.MexicoIt is urgent to do something to avoid such crimes in our beloved Vrindavan. We want to visit Vrindava safe, and want our little children to visit vrindavan some day. We don´t want to feel threatened by the thought of danger when thinking about traveling to Vrindavan. Please, Your Excellency, do something now, you can do it, in the memory of Lila Salter. Thank You. Hare Krishna.
João Carlos FernandesPORTUGALWE COULD BUILD A KSHATRYA FORCE, MADE UP OF DEVOTEES WITH PROPER SKILLS, AND A NICER (VEDIC) ASPECT. I THINK A POLICE FORCE WOULD BE TOO HEAVY AND UNSPIRITUAL... NO…? HARIBOL. J.
Antonio Carlos da Silva Rosa (Gaurakisora dasa)AustriaHARE KRISHNA - JAYA RADHE
Shaiphali TharejaSingaporePlease enforce laws to protect the devotees and severely punish the miscreants. Why any action wasn't taken when lila's family reported ? Why Indian Police can't perform their duty properly ? May Krsna Bless this baby doll with peace and goloka Vrindavana. Ia m sure - Srila Prabhupada would have taken her to Goloka Vrinadavana. Regards
Vaikuntha Murti DasBrazilPlease, Please, Please, we need India's Government efforts to keep Vrndavana safe
Doyal Niai Caitanya Das São Paulo - BrazilPlease do the right thing and restore this sacred place back to it's original spiritual magnificance as Lord Krishna has created!
Benedito Augusto Wenceslau da SilvaBrasilPrecisamos de paz!
UTPALA DASNIGERIAWE EXTEND OUR HEART FELT CONDOLENCE TO LILA'S PARENTS AS WELL AS ALL MEMBERS OF THE THE VAINAVA COMMUNITY ESPECIALLY THOSE OF ISKCON. HER EXIT IS A GREAT LOSS. AS FOR THE PERPETRATORS OF THE ACT, THEY ARE SURELY NOT HUMANS AND WE PRAY THAT KRISHNA REWARD THEM ACCORDINGLY. IT IS A SHAME THAT SUCH A THING SHOULD HAPPEN IN A PLACE LIKE VRINDAVAN, THE GOVERNMENT MUST THEREFORE DO EVRYTHING POSSIBLE TO PREVENT FUTURE OCCURANCE OF SUCH. VRINDAVAN SHOULD BE SAFE.
João Alberto S. BarroBrasilMy two pennies: Turists or Pilgrims. I suggest a change or adding "pilgrim" and "pilgrimage" besides the terms "turist" or "turism". Pilgrims are associated with reverence and spiritual persuit, on the other hand turists sometimes are associated with camera cliks, desrespect with local traditions even when injecting money to the local economy. All glories to Radha-Krsna. All glories to Sri Sri Gaura Nitay All glories to Srila Prabhupada
nirmalcanadaSave Vrindavan from devils
Vikram RamsoondurMauritiusIt is most regrettable that the Indian government is having to be petitioned in such a way, and that as well in the aftermath of the brutal murder of a wonderful young devotee of the Lord. The authorities should have been doing what is expected of them from the very beginning, and who knows, perhaps Lila would still be among us today. It is a great shame and a disgrace that this horrific crime was allowed to take place in the first instance. But better late than never, and we do hope that Vrindavana-dhama is afforded whatever resources it takes to restore its glory of old, as the earthly manifestation of the topmost spiritual abode. The world is in dire need for such, goodness knows.
Philip VahovichUSAplease make Vrindavan a more safe place for torists and residents! thanks!
Alexandra TcherkassovaGermanyfor safe vrindavan
Dhruva dasaBulgariaLet's safe Vrindavan
Maitreya Muni dasGermany...lets just pray to the Lord that all of His devotees are protected in this horrible age....Hare Krsna
Miguel Angel Bolado RepunteSpainVrindavan must be safe!
Greg SextonUSAThis is an outrage that this young lady was murdered and the police were forewarned several times...
Krishnakumar Bharadhwaj RamanUSAMay all the culpable transgressors be punished as per the prevailing State laws before being hunted by the inescapable Laws of Karma. May Lord Sri Krishna bless this wonderful soul on her onward odyssey back home, back to Godhead.
Subal Sakha dasUSA / IndiaMay the Lord Bless Lila and her family. I was in the vegatable market place today taking photos near Loi Bazzar. A man pulled out a knife and threatened me. I tried to contact the police, but there was none around. A bunch of local people who knew me came to my aid and reprimanded the man. He apoligized and went on his way. You don't pull a knife on someone and 10 minutes later say "Oh I'm sorry". This is insane and unacceptable behaviour. There has to be more protection for visitors to Vrindavan and other places. The people in India can be the nicest and also the worst I have ever expeienced.
Rajesh KIndiaIts atrocious to learn that a pilgrim, who had come all along to visit the sacred place, to be killed and it is even more heart-breaking to hear that it could have been averted had there been a proper law and order enforced in the area in view of the umpteen numbers of people who throng the place every year to experience Bliss.
Nandakumar ParthasarathyIndiaFor a pure devotee of Lord Krishna, Krishna will preserve what they have and carry what they lack. I am confident that the petition will be successful and Vrindavan Dham will be a safe place for the devotees.
Deepak LokhandeUSASave sacred place like Vrinadavan Dham.
Krishna MaheshwariUSAPlease improve law and order in Vrindavan.

Subadhra Devi DasiSouth Africa Please make Vrndavan a safe haven it it meant to be! There are indeed too many criminal elements lurking and the law needs to be enforced for the protection of all who love Vrndavan more than life itself!
Vaisnavi Rani d.d.GermanyPlease make Vrndavana a safe, secure and sacred place for all of us who want to visit the Holy Dhama in the future. I want to express my heartfelt condolences to the parents and family of Lila Salter. I admire their courage and strength to speak up now and want to support their efforts for such horrible crimes in a holy place are intolerable.

Dhira Nitai dasCroatiaIndian Government should act immediately! I visited Vrindavan many times and I don't feel safe there.
