aashish indulkarindiai had visited vridavan in last year in kartik month and in the morning we were walking towards the temple at 3.30 as our guest house was little bit away from the temple but one day tin the morning i had seen a women crying one the road first i feel that i should help her but slowly i was going towards her she started crying loudly that was horrible moment for me the whole road was dark and silent no one was there then i left her and moved towards the temple this shows that the vrindavan is unsafe but it is very very beautiful place

Shyamsundar dasCheck republicSri Vrindavan-dhama is the place where the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna performed His pastimes 5000 years ago. In honor to this, great Vaishnavas established here their ashrams and temples for the worship of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna. But, since it is kali-yuga, the asurik, or demonic people came also to this holy place, and disrespectfully commit all kinds of horrible acts. Many young and older women are been harassed, raped, threatened and even enslaved. It is a common place here that the bengali widows come here for shelter and end up being heavily abused by local rogues. It is also widely spread among the devotional society, how dangerous is for women here to walk around alone. People, including me, do not usually step forward to try to protect these ladies because as soon as somebody tries to do anything, those who are involved kill who is aspiring to help. This terror has been going on, and - as far as i heard- it has backing from the local authorities. I am really opening too much information here, but i think it is necessary. The murdering, raping and enslaving of women in this holy place should stop, if Indian government does not desire its reputation as a religious place to be heavily degraded.
