Joseph BeattyCanadaKrishna Vrindaban is a unique cultural resource in the nation, but when local police are ineffective against local gangsters preying on people, the reputation of India as a destination for visitors goes down. There are plenty of other places for tourists to go! Stamping out lawlessness and influence-peddling should be a priority for government at all levels here. A small investment of time and attention will pay big dividends in visitor revenue and reputation. Meanwhile, I feel sorry for this sick man and this innocent girl. Krishna please have mercy.
